Value Based Staff Incentives

Re View Our Oceans: Empowering Staff to See, Learn, and Protect Together

Rather than an individual sales-based competition, this initiative prioritises education, collaboration, and collective impact, ensuring staff feel inspired, connected, and actively involved in the mission.

1. Re View, Re Learn: Staff Education & Immersion
Before staff can sell a sustainable product from the travel retail capsule, they are encouraged to connect with its purpose. This program will provide engaging learning experiences that make sustainability a  lived experience rather than a corporate directive.

2. Sustainability & Ocean Conservation Learning Sessions
Monthly interactive talks with Take 3 ambassadors, marine biologists, Indigenous custodians, and sustainable design experts.

3. VR & AR Experiences

That simulates the effects of ocean pollution and showcases the impact of marine conservation.

4. Field Trips & Cleanups: Hands-on engagement where staff visit local beaches and waterways**, participating in Take 3 cleanups and documenting their experiences to share with customers.

5. Storytelling Workshops:
Training staff to confidently share the campaign’s story, making sustainability conversations in-store feel authentic and engaging.

6. Creative sessions:

Where staff document their own connection to the ocean through photography, video, or personal reflections—featured in Le Specs’ internal channels.

7. Paid Take 3 Days:
-Staff can take one paid day per quarter to volunteer with Take 3 for the Sea or another certified sustainability organisation.

8. The Ripple Effect:

Store-Wide Collaboration Challenges
This isn’t about who sells the most—it’s about which team makes the biggest impact together.

Store Missions
Instead of individual leaderboards, stores work as a team to complete purpose-driven challenges:

Collective Rewards
Winning store teams receive eco-adventure trips, such as guided conservation tours, sustainable surfing retreats, or underwater photography workshops.  Stores reaching impact milestone will have a donation made in their name to Take 3 for the Sea’s education programs, ensuring a lasting community impact.  â€‹â€‹

Why This Works

  • Empowers Staff with Knowledge

  • Employees feel connected to the mission not just the product.

  • Fosters Teamwork Over Competition

  • Stores work together for a collective impact.

  • Creates Real-World Change

  • Sustainability is woven into everyday actions, not just a one-time initiative.

  • Celebrates Creativity & Collaboration

  •  Staff shape the campaign’s success through their own ideas and engagement.
